Blizzard have given comminity a lot of speculation ground for an upcoming War! Let us dive deeper into this!

Speculation Time: Who burned down Teldrassil?

Blizzcon has revealed us that there will be open War between major factions Alliance and Horde. It will start with siege of Undercity and burning down of Teldrassil. Cinematic showed us battle for Undercity and Teldrassil is left in a mystery for now. But we still received some official art of Teldrassil which leaves us enough ground to speculate. There are several theories about it. As we know Andrassil that is located in Northrend was once a World Tree which was corrupted by Yogg Saron and created a cradle for Emerald Nightmare. Due to corruption it was destroyed but it didn't stop Emerald Nightmare from spreading further. We still don't know the exact location of one more Old God - N'zoth which is speculated to be imprisoned under the Sea. Could it be that Teldrassil roots reached his prison and it was the only way to stop Old God's corruption only by burning it down? Art showed us several characters involved: Nathanos, Sylvanas, Orc supposed to be Saurfang and wounded elf presumably Vereesa. Wounded elf receives some kind of treatment in the scene of Burning Teldrassil. Sylvanas is always watching Teldrassil from the distance and is not directly invovled. Could it be that whole burning was set up by her foes to discredit Horde and provoke War? During demo on Blizzcon several people noted that Wrathion is somehow sitting in the King Hall of Stormwind. He promised us at the end of Pandaria to never rely on chances and fulfill his mysterious mission. And we know one of the major perks of dragons (especially Black Dragonflight) - when they stop talking they use fire...
